Nanostructured & Amorphous Materials, Inc, founded in 2001, is a high-technology company involved in the research, processing, and marketing of nanostructured and amorphous materials. NANOstructured materials have crystallite sizes typically range from 1 to 100 nm. Since the proportion of atoms in the grain boundaries or particle surfaces can be equivalent to those inside the grains or particles, the nanostructured materials have properties vastly superior to those exhibited by conventional grain-sized (> 10 micrometers) polycrystalline materials. As a result, they can have a wide variety of applications in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, Biochemical, Electronic, Optical, and Energy-source industries. Currently, our company is able to provide our customers such nanostructured materials as Elements, Compounds, Single-Metal Oxides, Multi-Metal Oxides, Rare-Earth Oxides, and Lithium Ion Battery materials. For details, please check our Products. AMORPHOUS alloys, also called metallic glasses, are metallic alloys with no long range atom order which is a signature of crystalline metals and alloys. The amorphous alloys thus have unique magnetic, mechanical, electrical and corrosion behaviors. Most of the amorphous alloys produced during the past four decades are in the form of thin foils or ribbons with a thickness of about 30 to 50 micrometers, limiting their wider applications.
Our company is dedicated to process amorphous powders and bulk metallic glasses in various alloy systems to meet our customers' needs. For details, please Contact Us. |
