Components: 40-50 wt% SWCNT (Diameter 1-2 nm, Length 5-30 um) > 48-58 wt% polymers < 2.0 wt% impurities (Al < 0.04 wt%, Cl < 0.21 wt%, Co < 1.5 wt%, S < 0.15 wt%) Max. dispersibility: 170-213 mg/ml water 140-175 mg/ml ethanol 150-188 mg/ml DMF 155-194 mg/ml NMP The "dispersible carbon nanotubes" can be dispersed in the following solvents to form dispersions: Water, acetic acid, 1,4-butanediol, butanol, butylamine, chloroform, cyclohexanol, diethylene glycol, dimethyl acetamide, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, ethanol, ethylene diamine, ethylene glycol, formic acid, glycerin, isopropanol, methanol, methylene chloride, methylcyclohexanone, N-methylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol 400, propanol, propylene glycol, pyrrolidone, triethanolamine, vinylpyrrolidone, and mixtures thereof. Instructions for making dispersions: 1) Adding the "dispersible carbon nanotubes" to a solvent; 2) Treating the "dispersible carbon nanotubes"/solvent mixture for 5 to 20 minutes in a conventional ultrasound cleaner (or ultrasonic cleaning bath). Stability of as-synthesized dispersion: 1-10 days, decreasing with the CNT concentration in solvents.
