Sales Technician

NanoAmor is seeking a full-time nanomaterials sales technician. The daily duties will tackle a variety of challenges:

• Effectively communicate with customers via phone, e-mail and fax. This will include both pre-sale and post-sale support, by answering technical questions as well as availability and shipping logistics questions.
• Processing of purchase orders using an online e-commerce system, managing backorders, and organizing the shipping staffs' priorities and queue.
• Update the company literature (e.g., website, catalog, and technical summaries) using information provided by the company's research scientists.
• Manage a marketing campaign that includes online search marketing (e.g., Google Adwords) as well as advertisements in print magazines and in trade shows. Creation and implementation of new marketing initiatives.
• Travel is not required as part of this job (less than 1% travel).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Engineering or higher. Specialization should be in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, metallurgy or a similar area.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are required. Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are essential.
• Must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment, and be flexible for the varied duties of a small company. Works well without supervision and accepts responsibility.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Optional: coursework or research in nanotechnology (e.g., nanomaterials, nanodevices, etc.) is a definite plus.
• Optional: previous sales or technical work experience is a plus, but not required.

Salary ranges from $30-50k and will be commensurate with experience. Company offers benefits and year-end bonus, and provides all necessary training.
